Why Source Carbon Steel Coils from Jiangsu Cunrui?

When you're specifying carbon steel for structural frames, automotive components, or precision fabrication, three risks dominate procurement decisions: material substitution, dimensional inconsistency, and documentation gaps. We built our supply chain to eliminate all three.

✅ Direct Mill Partnerships: We source exclusively from TISCO, Baosteel, POSCO, and Lianzhong-no trading intermediaries. Every coil arrives with original mill test certificates and traceable heat numbers.

✅ In-House Precision Processing: Our 18,000 sqm facility handles slitting, cutting, leveling, and surface finishing under one roof. This means tighter tolerance control, faster turnaround, and zero outsourcing delays.

✅ Engineer-to-Engineer Support: Share your application requirements-operating environment, load conditions, fabrication methods-and our technical team will recommend the optimal grade, finish, and processing route. No sales scripts, just specification-driven guidance.

FAQ About Carbon Steel Coil

Q: What's the practical difference between Q235 and Q345 for fabrication?

A: Q235 offers excellent formability and weldability at lower cost-ideal for brackets, non-structural frames, and general sheet metal work. Q345 provides ~45% higher yield strength with comparable weldability, making it essential for load-bearing structures, crane components, or applications where deflection control matters. Both support custom cutting and surface finishing.

Q: Can you slit a 1500mm master coil to 387mm width with ±0.5mm tolerance?

A: Yes. Our precision slitting lines handle custom widths from 600–2000mm masters down to your required dimension. Minimum order: 5 tons per width specification. Lead time: +2–3 days vs. standard coils.

Q: Do you provide Mill Test Certificates for every coil?

A: Yes-EN 10204 3.1 MTC is mandatory for every shipment, including heat number, chemical composition, mechanical properties, and mill signature. We also perform in-house spectrometer verification and provide our QC report. Third-party inspection is available upon request.

Q: What's your MOQ for non-standard thickness or special grades?

A: Standard grades: 1 tons MOQ. Non-standard thickness or special grades: 10–20 tons depending on mill production schedule. Contact us early for feasibility confirmation-we'll check mill availability and advise on lead time/cost implications.

Q: How do you protect coils during ocean freight to humid destinations?

A: Standard export packing includes VCI anti-rust film + waterproof PE wrapping. For high-humidity destinations, we recommend:
(1) upgraded VCI film with extended protection period,
(2) additional desiccant packs inside packaging,
(3) galvanized coils for critical applications. We'll advise based on your destination port and storage conditions.

Q: Can I get a sample before placing a bulk order?

A: Yes. We provide free material samples for evaluation. Shipping cost is borne by the buyer. Samples include cut pieces from production stock + relevant MTC excerpt + finish reference card. Typical sample lead time: 3–5 days.

Q: What if there's a quality discrepancy upon arrival?

A: We guarantee material compliance with agreed specifications. If discrepancies are confirmed via third-party report, we cover replacement, rework, or refund per our quality warranty clause. Response within 48 hours. In 20 years, we've resolved fewer than 0.3% of shipments this way-documentation and pre-shipment verification prevent most issues.
