The installation method of stainless steel pipes is basically the same as that of ordinary carbon steel, and there are the following process requirements in some processes.
1. The stainless steel material should not be in direct contact with other metals, and should be padded with non-metallic materials such as wooden boards or rubber sheets.
2. It is not allowed to use ordinary grinding wheel for pipe cutting, and stainless steel special grinding wheel or plasma cutting should be used.
3. The inner side of the weld should be protected by argon during tack welding of stainless steel pipes and fittings.
4. The arc starting, arc ending, and arc starting adopt the reflow method, and the arc ending should fill the arc crater. The arcing must be completed within the groove, and arcing and arcing on the surface of the base material of pipes and pipe fittings are prohibited. If defects such as pores and cracks are found at the arc starting and arc ending, they should be cleaned up in time.
5. For the connection of stainless steel pipes, pipe fittings and stainless steel pipes, pipe fittings and non-stainless steel pipes and pipe fittings, the welded butt joints should be filled with argon gas protection before bottom welding, so that argon tungsten arc welding can be carried out.
6. The arc starting and ending points of multi-pass multi-layer welding should be staggered from each other.
7. When the stainless steel material is continuously welded, the interlayer temperature should not exceed 60 ℃.
8. The welding seam at the welding joint of the pipeline should be pickled and passivated after welding.
9. The water pressure test of stainless steel pipes has certain requirements for water temperature and water quality, and the water temperature must not be less than 5 degrees Celsius; the chloride ion content in the water must be greater than 25Pmm.
