2B (matte):

After cold rolling, heat treatment, pickling, and finish rolling to make the surface moderately bright. Due to the smooth surface, it is easy to regrind to make the surface brighter and has a wide range of uses, such as tableware, building materials, etc. With a surface treatment to improve mechanical properties, it is suitable for almost all purposes.

BA (bright side):

Bright annealed and leveled products after cold rolling. The surface gloss is excellent and has high reflectivity. Like a mirror surface. Used in home appliances, mirrors, kitchen equipment, decorative materials, etc.

TR (surfaces required by various regulations)

The mechanical properties obtained by cold processing the annealed and descaled or bright annealed products are much higher than those of the annealed material, and the surface difference depends on the amount of processing and the composition of the material alloy

HL (hair noodles):

A product with abrasive patterns (subdivision No. 150-320) produced by continuous grinding with a polishing abrasive belt of appropriate grain size. It is mainly used for architectural decoration, elevators, doors and panels of buildings, etc.

2B refers to the code name of the surface quality of the stainless steel plate. The cold-rolled material you mentioned in the middle is also reasonable, because stainless steel needs heat treatment, pickling, and matte surface when treating the surface. These intermediate processes are called cold-rolling treatment, and after treatment, the surface is made moderate bright ones. So 2B in 304 refers to the surface grade, and cold rolling refers to an intermediate process of treatment.
