Products Description
Inconel 600 seamless pipe (UNS N06600 / W.Nr.2.4816 / GH3600) is a nickel-chromium-iron based solid solution strengthened alloy pipe material manufactured without weld seams. Unlike welded pipes which have longitudinal welds, seamless pipes are formed from solid round billets through hot extrusion or cold drawing/cold rolling processes, eliminating the potential failure point of weld seams. They have inherent advantages in terms of pressure-bearing capacity, sealing performance, and uniformity of structure.
This alloy is designed with a high nickel content (≥72%) and medium chromium (14-17%) as its core components. It focuses on comprehensive properties such as high-temperature oxidation resistance, anti-carburization, resistance to strong alkalis, and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. It is a classic material that has been rigorously tested in harsh conditions such as heat treatment furnaces, chemical caustic evaporation equipment, and nuclear power steam generators.
