Cold-rolled 2205 stainless steel sheet is produced by further rolling hot-rolled sheet at room temperature. Its thickness is usually thinner, ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm. The surface finish is higher, reaching 2B or mirror-like effect. The dimensional accuracy and plate shape flatness are better than those of hot-rolled sheets. The cold rolling process makes the internal structure of the material more dense and the mechanical properties more uniform. It is suitable for fields that require high surface quality and dimensional accuracy, such as food machinery, medical devices, precision instruments, and decorative purposes.
