316 stainless steel is widely used in industries such as chemical engineering, food processing, medicine, and architectural decoration due to its excellent corrosion resistance and extensive application. Different surface treatment methods not only affect the appearance but also directly relate to corrosion resistance, cleanliness, and processing performance.

The 2B surface is a bright surface obtained after cold rolling and subsequent acid washing and passivation treatment. It is smooth and flat, suitable for mechanical processing and general decoration. The BA (Bright Annealed) surface is treated through annealing to achieve a shiny finish, with a mirror-like luster. It is commonly used in high-demand decorative or sanitary equipment. The No.1 surface is the original surface after hot rolling and annealing followed by acid washing, which is relatively rough and suitable for the inner layer of chemical equipment or containers. The No.4 surface is a polished surface with a fine sand texture effect, resistant to corrosion and aesthetically pleasing, and is commonly used in kitchen equipment, interior decoration, and handicrafts.

The selection of the appropriate surface treatment method should be based on a comprehensive consideration of the specific application environment, corrosion resistance requirements, and aesthetic needs. For example, food equipment typically uses BA or No.4 surfaces, while the inner layer of chemical equipment often selects No.1 surfaces.
