Product Overview

Product Introduction
Jiangsu Cunrui Metal Products Co., Ltd. offers Inconel 718 (UNS N07718) seamless pipe, a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy designed for high-strength applications up to 700°C. With its excellent creep resistance, fatigue strength, and oxidation resistance, this alloy is the go-to material for aerospace engines, gas turbines, and deep-well oil extraction equipment.
Unlike solution-strengthened alloys, Inconel 718 gains its strength through controlled precipitation of gamma prime (γ') and gamma double prime (γ'') phases during heat treatment. This unique characteristic gives it a remarkable combination of weldability and high-temperature mechanical performance-something few other nickel alloys can match.
Key Features & Advantages
| Feature | Benefit |
|---|---|
| Precipitation-Hardening Design | Achieves high tensile and yield strength through simple heat treatment; retains strength up to 700°C |

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes Inconel 718 different from other nickel alloys?
A: Unlike solid-solution strengthened alloys like Inconel 600 or 625, Inconel 718 is precipitation-hardened, which gives it significantly higher yield and tensile strength at elevated temperatures-up to 700°C-while maintaining good weldability.
Q: Can Inconel 718 be welded without special precautions?
A: Yes. One of the key advantages of Inconel 718 is its excellent weldability. Unlike many precipitation-hardening alloys, it is resistant to post-weld cracking and can be welded in any condition without preheating.
Q: Do you offer custom dimensions outside standard ranges?
A: Yes. We support custom OD, wall thickness, and length requirements. Please provide your specifications and we will confirm feasibility.
