Product Overview

Some alloys are fine at room temperature. Inconel X750 is the one engineers specify when "fine" is not good enough. A precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy (UNS N07750, W.Nr. 2.4669), it keeps useful strength up to 1,800°F and resists oxidation long after conventional stainless tubing has scaled and softened.
Our cold-drawn, seamless pipe is precipitation-treated to AMS 5582 before it leaves the floor - minimum 155 ksi tensile strength, 100 ksi yield strength, and not a single weld seam along the whole length.
At a glance:
Temperature class - service-proven to 1,300°F; oxidation resistance to 1,800°F
Strength - ≥ 155 ksi tensile / ≥ 100 ksi yield (precipitation treated)
Form - seamless, cold-drawn, weld-free for the full length
Condition - precipitation hardened or annealed, per your process need
Supply - outside diameter, wall and length cut to your drawing

What this mix actually does: nickel carries the matrix and feeds the γ′ precipitates that give X750 its strength; chromium builds the oxide scale that blocks high-temperature attack; titanium and aluminum do the heavy lifting during aging; niobium refines grain structure and adds a further strength push.

Standards and Certification
Material can be supplied to ASTM B637 / ASME SB637, AMS 5582 (seamless tubing), AMS 5667 – 5671, ISO 9723 – 9725 and EN 10269. Mill test certificates and full traceability accompany every lot.
Applications
An Inconel X750 seamless pipe earns its keep where heat, stress and corrosion meet. Typical service roles include:
- Gas turbines - rotor blades, wheels, bolts and structural members
- Rocket engine thrust chambers and nozzle components
- Aircraft thrust reversers and hot-air ducting systems
- Large pressure vessels and heat-exchanger internals
- Heat-treating fixtures, forming tools and extrusion dies
- Springs and fasteners - from sub-zero service to 1,200°F
- Chemical processing duty where chloride stress cracking rules out stainless
For most of these jobs, the selection question comes down to one thing: will the pipe hold its strength at operating temperature? Inconel X750 seamless pipe answers yes - comfortably, at 1,300°F and beyond.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between your seamless pipe and welded tubing?
A: Our Inconel X750 seamless pipe is produced through extrusion and cold-drawing, meaning there is no weld seam. This eliminates the risk of weld-line corrosion and provides superior pressure containment and uniform grain structure, which is critical for aerospace and nuclear applications.
Q: Can you provide material in different heat treatment conditions?
A: Absolutely. We typically supply in Solution Treated + Aged (Condition A) for maximum strength. However, we can also provide Solution Treated only if you plan to perform aging after cold forming or machining. Just let us know your specific processing route.
Q: What is your typical lead time for a custom order?
A: For standard sizes, we often have stock or can deliver in 2-3 weeks. Custom dimensions or large quantities typically take 4-6 weeks depending on the production schedule. We always provide a precise timeline before you commit.
Q: Do you offer third-party testing?
A: Yes, we welcome SGS, TÜV, or BV inspections at our facility. We also provide comprehensive mill test reports including chemical composition, tensile tests, hydrostatic testing, and eddy-current/ultrasonic results.
