BA (Bright Annealing), which means bright annealing, refers to a surface state of stainless steel cold-rolled sheet after bright annealing treatment and then smoothing.

Are there any differences between the BA surface and the 2B surface in terms of mechanics, physics, etc. besides the surface difference?

The BA surface and the 2B surface are the same in terms of process, and the different annealing methods make the surface state different, but there is no essential difference between the two. Therefore, there is basically no difference in mechanical and physical properties. The advantage of the BA surface is that it is beautiful, and due to the smooth surface, the corrosion resistance is slightly better.
